Around the world

Ty Petzke's grandparents, Jeri & Mitch Behringer, visited our classroom for a two-day "Around the World" unit about China. They shared interesting things such as:

• Why you never see mean dragons in China - always happy dragons
• Red and orange are lucky colors
• Children's clothing
• Writing techniques - using brushes instead of pencils

The children couldn't get enough! It was a wonderful experience for us all. We appreciate the Behringers for helping bring China to our Pilgrim Preschool classroom.
