It’s a Great Place to Learn!

This past month, children learned about dental health and how to take care of their teeth. Sali from Bullard's Dentistry visited both classes. She always does such a wonderful job of teaching the children about dental health by using songs, puppets and movement.

Both classes have been learning about colors and color mixing. I'm amazed at the interest the children show in learning their colors in sign language. They also loved learning a song about colors in Spanish.

The children love the Pilgrim Preschool Post Office dramatic play area that I set up. They have been writing letters to friends and family. While in their postal worker uniforms the children have sorted letters, postcards & small packages. They have done an awesome job delivering them to the correct mail boxes. I love to listen to their role play conversations.

Next month we will be learning about Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes. Our dramatic play area will be transformed into a castle. The children always have so much fun with this unit.
